Sharksme (sharksme.com) is operated by ISECAD L.L.C-FZ (licence no. 2202195.01), Meydan FZ, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For any question or request about your data, write to info@sharksme.com. Sharksme is for adults aged 18 or older.

1. What we collect

  • Account details: name, email address and password (stored in protected form), and the mobile number you give in a post or at payment.
  • Company details you choose to add (name, website, logo, description) are shown on your posts and your member page; the website is shown to Premium members only. A PDF you attach to a post is opened by Premium members only.
  • Your first name can be used in the search to find your posts (your last name, email and number are never searchable).
  • If you continue with Google: your name and email address as Google shares them with us. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Profile and posts: what you choose to add, including photos and contact details.
  • Messages between members.
  • Payment records: plan, amount, date and reference. We never receive your card number.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser, pages visited and cookies.

2. Why we use it

To run your account, publish your posts, let members contact each other, take payments, keep the site safe from fraud and spam, improve the site, and meet legal obligations. We send news only if you asked for it.

3. What others can see

Your posts are public. Contact details in a post can be seen by Premium members. Members you message see your name, your contact information and your messages.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the companies that help us run the site (hosting, payment, email, analytics and messaging providers), and with authorities when the law requires. Some of these providers are outside the United Arab Emirates.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your data, except records the law requires us to keep.

6. Your choices

You can delete your account yourself in your profile ("Delete my account"). You can also ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Write to info@sharksme.com.

7. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in and to count visits (Google Analytics). You can block cookies in your browser.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The new version applies from the date it is posted here.
